Transferring your studies at CTTC.

It is possible for students to transfer their studies either to, or from, CTTC.

Incoming Transfers

You must first submit an application to CTTC following the instructions on our applications pageOnce you have submitted your application, this will be sent to our admissions team for review. Although there aren’t usually formal application deadlines for our continuing students wishing to join at later levels, it’s important to make sure you respond to any communication from our admissions team promptly. If you don’t, you may find that your application is automatically declined or rejected on your behalf, or that there aren’t any places available on your chosen course.

Accreditation for Prior Learning (APL) Scheme

If you’re a registered practitioner, you can add to credits you’ve already accumulated at other higher education institutions through the Accreditation for Prior Learning (APL) scheme. This may also mean you’re exempt from certain parts of your course, and can avoid covering subject areas you’ve already studied and gained accreditation for.

To benefit from APL, you’ll need to contact us to discuss it before you apply. An accreditation panel at our validating Partner Institution, Buckinghamshire New University, will decide the level of accreditation to be awarded, based on your academic and experiential learning achievements.

Find out more about what happens once you’ve submitted your application in the After Applying section of our Partner, Buckinghamshoire New Universtites website.

Outgoing Transfers

Any student wishing to transfer their studies from Court Theatre Training Company to another Higher Eduication provider transfer will be subject to the academic approval and availability of places on their desired institution. You will be expected to have discussed your intention to transfer with the Director of Studies in advance.

You must also contact your funding body to check your financial support for the new programme. If the transfer increases the number of years it will take to complete your programme, you may be without fee support for one of your years of study.

If you have any other questions regarding this process please contact us to discuss it before you apply.
