Jeremy Young - Shakespearean/ Jacobean/Beginnings of Modern Theatre

Jeremy has worked for over 30 years in drama schools such as The Rose Bruford Academy, Webber Douglas, The Drama Studio, A.L.R.A. and latterly and happily at The Court Theatre Training Company where he currently directs final productions and is module leader for Shakespeare and 19th Century Theatre. 

His career as a theatre director includes productions in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Vienna, USA, Hamlet in Albania and Kosovo and Moliere's Tartuffe at The Thorndike Theatre Leatherhead. He was also resident director for Three Seasons at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury. 

He was a founder member of the original Renaissance Theatre Company and a pioneer of fringe theatre at The Basement Theatre Soho and The King's Head Islington. 

In his parallel career as an actor he has played leading roles in Theatre, Television and film and he works regularly for BBC radio 3 and 4.
