Information For Students Seeking to Transfer their Studies to Court Theatre Training Company

Incoming Transfers

Once you have submitted your application, this will be sent to our admissions team for review. Although there aren’t usually formal application deadlines for our continuing students wishing to join at later levels, it’s important to make sure you respond to any communication from our admissions team promptly. If you don’t, you may find that your application is automatically declined or rejected on your behalf, or that there aren’t any places available on your chosen course.

Accreditation for Prior Learning (APL) Scheme

If you’re a registered practitioner, you can add to credits you’ve already accumulated at other higher education institutions through the Accreditation for Prior Learning (APL) scheme. This may also mean you’re exempt from certain parts of your course, and can avoid covering subject areas you’ve already studied and gained accreditation for.

To benefit from APL, you’ll need to contact us to discuss it before you apply. An accreditation panel at our validating Partner Institution, Buckinghamshire New University, will decide the level of accreditation to be awarded, based on your academic and experiential learning achievements.

Find out more about what happens once you’ve submitted your application in the After Applying section of our Partner, Buckinghamshoire New Universtites website.
