Tchoubouroff Michael

Michael Tchoubouroff

After graduating from CTTC in 1999, Michael staged his first play, Firefall, at the Tricycle theatre. The play was about a disabled writer who kills himself and goes to Hell, meeting characters like Hitler, Devil and Cinderella. The 60 min long film that followed went to different student film festivals.

In 2003 he set up the company Weeble Films. The first film made was a 10 min short, Eyeliner. Michael spent next four years developing the romantic black Comedy Diagnosis Superstar. After a very successful show at London's Soho Theatre, the 35mm feature was shot in 2008, gaining a nomination for Best Feature at the 2008 London Independent Film Festival, then re-cut and fully completed in 2010.

In February 2009, Michael directed an HD gangster feature, Jack Said, which has been distributed worldwide by Optimum Releasing.

In April 2010 Michael created/directed a video for Peter Gabriel's World Tour.

Michael is currently producing and developing the forthcoming WW2 Romance Life's Cycle.
